    ABOUT THE BUSINESS QPTS we have partnered with one of our international clients, who is a leading company in the mining maintenance services and automotive industries.

    We are currently looking for Trade Assistants that are open to upskilling to a Roller Technician. QPTS will provide training and knowledge for the successful candidates.

    You will be joining an inclusive FIFO community for our Shutdown circuit, mobilising from Perth to the WA Pilbara region, with ongoing work throughout the year You will be a part of a growing team that is comprised with skilled employees, supervisors and coordinators.

    WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU Be compensated with a competitive hourly rate (we know it is the best in the industry) Initial Roller Technician training and upskilling provided through our RTO Be guaranteed on going work on our shut down circuit Work as part of an inclusive, safe and positive workplace Work for a reputable global organisation Be supported every step of the way by the QPTS team YOUR DUTIES AS A ROLLER TECHNICIAN Inspect and replace rollers on mine site conveyor belts Installing and repairing conveyor belt components (such as hard and soft skirts) and related machinery Conducting regular maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns Installing and repairing electrical components such as motors, gears, pulleys and control panels.

    Adhere and possess a strong commitment to workplace health and safety JOB REQUIREMENTS Current WA Driver License FMG and BHP Inducted is an advantage Previous Trade Assistant experience will be highly regarded, however not essential Have White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, and Gas Test Atmosphere Tickets High Risk Work License including Forklift, EWP is desirable Have Unlimited Working Rights in Australia Possess a strong work ethic and communication skills Pass a pre-employment Full Medical Please note that all above tickets must be valid (Within 2 years) There could be further opportunities once the work has been completed, so now is your chance to apply If you are interested and are excited to work, then please apply
