The Role

The Precincts team is responsible for the creation and delivery of large-scale urban redevelopment projects across Victoria including Fitzroy Gasworks, Arden, General Motors Holden (Fishermans Bend), Docklands, Revitalising Central Dandenong and Junction Place Wodonga.

We are looking for x2
Assistant Development Managers to assist the Precincts team through the planning, design, development and construction phases of property and precinct development projects ensuring financial viability and commercial success.

This hands on role will see you support the team in managing the planning, design, development and delivery of development projects.

You will undertake various project tasks to support the team including tracking project milestones, project financials, invoicing and assisting with strategies to generate new business opportunities.

A strong understanding of contracts combined with legal and probity knowledge will be essential for this position.

Previous experience engaging with contractors, consultants and advisors and the ability manage the delivery of minor works within appropriate time, cost and quality measures is required.

About You

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Property Development, Construction or Project Management essential
Previous experience in planning, design and master planning processes
Strong technical skills with Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro or PDF based programs
Some exposure to the preparation and analysis of financial feasibility studies, budgeting and cost monitoring
Experience working in an environment requiring liaison with, and coordination of, multiple stakeholders.
