About the Role


Be an integral member of the Academic department, providing teaching and learning of the highest standard to our students, preparing them to become high-quality future practitioners.

The position will be based at our Brisbane campus and will require attendance every Tuesday from 7:45 am to 4:45 pm.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Support, guide, and manage students in a clinic setting.
  • Continuously assess students' clinical performance and provide support to those at risk.
  • Assist students in client treatment, including time management and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Foster a studentcentered learning environment through positive interaction.
  • Stay updated on academic and industry developments in the relevant discipline.
  • Provide input to enhance programs based on various feedback sources.
  • Contribute to scholarly activities such as collaborations, conference presentations, publications, and marketing activities as required
  • Ensure adherence to college policies and procedures
  • Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Fulfill other duties assigned by academic management.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification. (Extra professional experience with current enrollment in a postgraduate program may substitute for the postgraduate qualification upon entry, with demonstrated progress and attainment of qualification while employed).
  • Strong clinic supervision experience, or at least preclinical supervision, along with professional practice experience in the relevant health field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven experience collaborating with various stakeholders, including students and professionals.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships within and outside the College, including industry and the broader community.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high ethical and professional standards in leadership and work.
  • Current membership in a relevant professional association.
