About the Role

Be an integral member of the Academic department, providing teaching and learning of the highest standard to our students, preparing them to become high-quality future practitioners.

The position will be based at our Brisbane campus and will require attendance every Tuesday from 7:45 am to 4:45 pm.

Key responsibilities include:

Support, guide, and manage students in a clinic setting.
Continuously assess students' clinical performance and provide support to those at risk.
Assist students in client treatment, including time management and maintaining confidentiality.
Foster a studentcentered learning environment through positive interaction.
Stay updated on academic and industry developments in the relevant discipline.
Provide input to enhance programs based on various feedback sources.
Contribute to scholarly activities such as collaborations, conference presentations, publications, and marketing activities as required
Ensure adherence to college policies and procedures
Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
Fulfill other duties assigned by academic management.

About You

Bachelor's degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification. (Extra professional experience with current enrollment in a postgraduate program may substitute for the postgraduate qualification upon entry, with demonstrated progress and attainment of qualification while employed).
Strong clinic supervision experience, or at least preclinical supervision, along with professional practice experience in the relevant health field.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong interpersonal abilities.
Proven experience collaborating with various stakeholders, including students and professionals.
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships within and outside the College, including industry and the broader community.
Demonstrated commitment to high ethical and professional standards in leadership and work.
Current membership in a relevant professional association.
