About the Role


Reporting to the Support Services Manager, the Service Desk Officer will be the initial point of contact for all IT related support requests, providing first contact triage, diagnosis and resolution.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Undertake a full range of Service Desk activities for the IT Services Department
  • Undertake administration and ownership of Incidents & Service Requests
  • Communicate with all stakeholders, including providing regular updates regarding incidents and service requests
  • Assist with documentation of solutions, policies and procedures and other projects as required

The Team


Information Technology Services is responsible for the maintenance and development of Bendigo Health's local and wide area network, all personal computers and peripherals, support of all software from operating systems to the central patient management system.

The team provides a full range of support activities including Service Desk support, hardware and software administration.
