The role

This Department is seeking an experienced Project Officer to work on project that promote long term outcomes for energy consumers.

It is through to 29th of December with possible extensions.

Responsibilities

Provide project support
Contribute to the evaluation of funded programs and projects and assess milestones against policy objectives
Undertake research and analysis to improve current programs and develop innovative programs and projects
Establish and maintain registers and data relating to contract management and the monitoring of projects
Identify risks and develop a risk register, monitor programs and projects and prepare reports

Required

Experience providing project support
Experience in Energy sector and/or Government
An understanding of Government, departmental and Ministerial functions and processes is desirable.
Knowledge of contract management
