About your new role:

We are seeking Residential Care Partners to join our aged care team in Gwelup.

Working as part of our dedicated team means you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to our residents pursuing their unique personal goals and passions, enabling them to live full and meaningful lives.

This means understanding what matters most to our residents and working together to ensure we deliver on this commitment every day.


Duties:


  • Promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents
  • Ensure personcentred support and support plans are at the forefront of everything you do
  • Partnering with residents to be involved in the meaningful activities of their life
  • Coordinate with other staff to achieve outcomes and liaise directly with nursing staff regarding any specific health concerns
  • Support with everyday activities such as;
  • Eating
  • Personal hygiene tasks (such as bathing, dressing, personal care)
  • Mobility
  • Household tasks
  • Leisure activities

Skills and Experience:


  • Ability to engage residents though a personcentered approach to care and support
  • Works well and contributes effectively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Hold a Certificate III/working towards attaining one (desirable) or willingness to obtain one
  • Willingness to obtain or provide proof of uptodate 2023 Influenza & three COVID19 Vaccinations
  • Willingness to undergo a preemployment medical
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
