We are partnering with a leading property and investment group to appoint a new CFO to take the helm, effectively manage and coach the team to success, and drive strategic change in partnership with the business owners and executive team.


The ideal person for this role will have a proven background operating at this level, and should be an experience people manager who can be involved with getting the most out of the existing finance team.


You will be:

  • Developing financial strategies to support the goals for this business who often run property development projects which can span over 57 years
  • Providing analysis, forecasting and projections to support strategic decision making
  • Identifying risks and opportunities and making recommendations to senior management
  • Oversight of reporting and compliance, including complex audit requirements
  • Development of budgets, monitoring and controlling project expenses, and implementing controls to minimise risk
  • Managing debt and equity financing, evaluating opportunities for investment, and maintaining relationships with lenders, investors and banks
  • Managing all treasury, including investment opportunities and debt facilities
  • Provide strategic direction, act as a key member of the executive team to drive business growth providing insights and challenging the status quo
  • Identify opportunities to develop processes and efficiency improvements, streamlining processes and enhancing reporting
  • Get the best out of the finance team, delegating and empowering them to take on responsibilities, providing coaching and feedback on performance.
