About the role

Reporting to the Critical Infrastructure WA / NT Construction Manager, the successful applicant will provide Operational Supervision and Leadership of our projects deliverable to the client.


The Supervisor shall optimise the delivery of the works through effective assignment and utilisation of direct and indirect reports as well as developing and maintaining internal and external service relationships and arrangements to achieve quality outcomes.


Key Responsibilities of the Role:


  • Demonstrate compliance to safety procedures
  • Monitor compliance of and deliver constructions activities to standards to by clients
  • Providing overall Supervision, management and leadership of various teams on a daytoday basis.
  • Assisting the Works Manager to achieve the business plans, budgets, targets, reports and forecasts
  • Resource planning to enable efficient and effective delivery
  • Performance manage / mentor / enable direct reports
  • Developing and maintaining a close relationship with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective works coordination.
  • Lifecycle Supervision of the allocated works, projects or programs by ensuring that they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to approved quality standards and in accordance with the Customer and Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Directly Accountable for Efficiently resourcing of the works ,Risk management planning, Project execution planning.
  • Assist in management of project costs, scope and schedule, providing regular and reliable reports on performance and progress of the works.
  • Participate in project/works prestart meetings and review meetings.

About you:


  • Current manual drivers licence (Essential)
  • White card (Essential)
  • Current St John's Ambulance First Aid Certificate or equivalent (Desired)
  • Completion of (or willingness to participate in) Initial OHS training of HSR (Desired)
  • 5 Years Trade Experience
  • Exposure to DC power and Solar systems (Desired)
  • Experience with Alarm Management and remote monitoring systems
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, statutory obligations and Thiess Policy
  • Act honestly and with integrity at all times
