We are looking for an experienced Retention Specialist who can drive the design & implementation of the customer retention strategies to increase loyalty and retain business.

Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, responsibilities in this position include:

  • Design and implement customer retention strategies to increase loyalty and retain business.
  • Increase customer retention with a positive result on budget achievement.
  • Liaise with the Marketing team and Creative Agencies to develop tools to assist in attracting new and lapsed customers.
  • Manage monthly pricing and performance reporting including insights, incentives, and bonus'.
  • Manage the quality, integrity and accuracy of data in liaison with Retail Marketing Service Provider and local dealer network.
  • Develop market retention targets, address any negative sales trends and exploit new sales opportunities.
  • Oversee the interfaces / data integrations for the Retail Marketing Service Provider.
  • Collect and publish best practices for retention management.
  • Analysis and prognosis of impact/ potential from major technical campaigns/recalls.
  • Identify major retention risks based on ongoing tracking and suggestion of countermeasures.


Located at this large corporate head office located in the Southeastern suburbs, this role forms a key part driving customer loyalty, sales, and business growth.

Ideally you will have;

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or related field.
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or related field is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and deliver to deadlines.
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional customer focus & strong attention to detail.
  • Automotive experience welcomed but not essential.


You will be an excellent communicator with strong time management skills, commercially sound and target/KPI orientated with a can-do attitude and high level of efficiency.

This is a maximum term contract opportunity with full leave entitlements.
