Selection Criteria:

KSC 1. Be able to work autonomously without supervision but also able to work in a team environment when required

KSC 2. Demonstrate excellent communication skills within the school team and when liaising with external providers

KSC 3. Demonstrated knowledge and practical expereince in general pool maintenance including cleaning, testing and balancing an 8m warm water pool

KSC 4. Ability to easily switch between the classroom role and the warm water pool operation role when required

KSC 5. Demonstrated success in training others for pool for testing purposes


Role:


  • Coordinate the use and maintenance of school buildings and equipment.
  • Liaise and negotiate with service providers in respect to the cost and quality of services.
  • Supervise the delivery of contracted services.
  • Manage the development and collection of resource material at the school.
  • Be responsible for training others in pool testing
  • Document information as its pertains to water quality standards associated with school pools in accordance with regulations
  • Liaise between external providers and the schools management team for purposes of maintaining the pool
Provide classroom based ES support during the day, as required
