Description
The Infrastructure Technician will be required to perform and/or have responsibility for duties including, but not limited to:- Identify, evaluate, and manage the adoption of appropriate tools, techniques, and processes (including automation and continuous integration) to create a robust integration framework.
- Develop concept and capability in alignment with technical requirements.
- Develop lowlevel architecture and implement solutions as per agreed architectural patterns.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of artefacts such as Build Guides, As-BuiltAs-Configured Documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), etc.
- Contribute to the development of system integration policies, standards, and tools.
- Work with peers in a highly collaborative and highperforming team environment.
- Report to the Development Technical Lead in relation to status of activities,identified risks, and task completion at a high enough level to allow upward communication through the organisation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years' experience in implementing large scale, geographically distributed systems on Wintel and Linux platforms.
- Strong Windows administration and troubleshooting experience.
- VMWare VCF
- Nutanix Enterprise Cloud
- Microsegmentation solutions, including VMWare NSX-T,Nutanix Flow, Illumio
- Backup and Data protection, including HYCU, VEEAM
- Networking fundamentals
- Experience in developing solutions for private cloud and/or multitenancy.
- Experience in deploying, supporting, and recovering virtual workloads.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements in a fastpaced environment to meet changing deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Experience in developing highly available/fault tolerant systems, networks, and infrastructure in a connected, partially connected, degraded, or often disconnected state.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge and skills in the design, implementation, and configuration of automation and orchestration technologies and services.
- Knowledge and skills in DevSecOps technologies and principles, specifically infrastructureascode, Git, PowerShell, Python, or other similar languages.
- Ability to rapidly build, automate, and deliver proof of concept systems to support analysis, testing, accreditation, and development activities, preferably within a DevSecOps process.

Security Clearance:
- Currently hold a Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) or higher security clearance. In this instance it is not sufficient to have only completed and submitted a security pack to the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) prior to commencement.
