helping people?**Peninsula Vet Care is a group of five locally owned and operated veterinary hospitals combined with a 24-hour emergency and specialist referral hospital on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.

About the role**We are looking for a casual receptionist across our five hospitals. They are located at Mt Eliza, Mornington, Dromana, Rosebud and Rye. Our business operates 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 9am to 5pm and Sundays 10am to 2pm.

Shift times are Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm 8am to 5pm, 7.30am to 4pm with Saturdays 9am to 1pm

The position includes the following responsibilities:

Managing multiple incoming phone lines and directing calls
Scheduling appointments and communicating booking requirements to clients
Communicating patient arrivals and emergencies to clinical staff
Finalising invoices, processing client payments and balancing the till
Maintaining a clean and presentable front of house
Completing a variety of administration tasks

About you

Minimum two years' experience in a general receptionist role
Ability to provide high levels of customer service
Exceptional phone manner and communication skills
The ability to build positive relationships
Strong organisational and time management skills
The ability to work efficiently and with initiative in a fastpaced environment
A professional and positive demeanour

Previous veterinary experience is not a requirement for this position, but a passion for customer service is
