The Opportunity


Reporting to the Production Manager, this role's primary purpose will be to create the daily production schedule and work orders for the foam conversion department.


As well as, but not limited to:

  • Followup as required with all teams to expedite the flow of orders and materials to meet production schedule and customer expectations.
  • Assist with reporting, data analysis and decisionmaking to support raw material supply and finished goods demand
  • Interacts with shop floor management daily to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information as requested by Operations, Customer Service and Finance
  • Provide recommendations to the department leader to adjust capacity and/or lead times where appropriate.
  • Investigate and report on DIFOT misses to find causes and solutions
  • Intercompany transfers and processing invoices
  • Prepare and follow up purchase orders for local productionrelated consumables, IT equipment and other amenities for the local Foam department team
  • Undertake local administration requirements associated with ISO quality audits and accreditation
  • Adhoc duties as required by the Production Manager

About You

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Great attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
  • Confident working with Microsoft products, including Excel. SAP is also desirable
  • Customer centric, with the desire to build mutually beneficial relationships to meet targets
