Position Information:We are seeking a Finance Officer to join our Finace team at our Head Office, which is located in the heart of Sydney CBD.

This role is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Corporate Services Manager.

The Finance Officer is responsible for accounting operation and reporting, coordinating and administrating financial management, as well as assisting with other administrative processes wherever needed.

The main objective of this role is to provide a range of accounting support services and financial management of the business.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Financials and documents handling with high attention to detail
  • Maintaining the assets register and calculation of depreciation for the organisation
  • Preparation under supervision of the organisations annual Fringe Benefits Tax return
  • Participation in the commentary relating to the financial performance of the organisation that is provided to stakeholders and senior management of trends and changes that have occurred in the monthly reporting cycle
  • Maintaining the corporate motor vehicle register, and liaising with our salary packaging provider of changes in custodianship of company vehicles and general fleet management.
  • Answering queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • General administration tasks

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • At least 2 years previous experience in Finance position
  • Relevant Aged care experience is preferable
  • Excellent attention to detail together with strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Well developed time management skills;
  • A willingness to learn, positive approach and strong initiative;
  • The ability to work autonomously and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Preferable for CPA/CA qualification or working towards.
