Weir Minerals are looking for a Storeperson to join our Warehouse at Perth Airport

Responsibilities of the role

  • Picking product by hand, utilising Material Handling Equipment or mechanical aids
  • Packaging or repackaging of outbound consignments, including labelling and packing to customer specific packaging requirements
  • Utilisation of hand tools including but not limited to; nail guns, hammers, strappers, crow bars, staple guns and labeller's.
  • Utilising our Weir systems to control stock movement including receipt, putaway, picking and dispatch
  • Utilisation of RF scanners
  • Liaise with other departments, service providers and internal stakeholders, relative to stock movement, transport or warehousing, when required
  • Operation of Material Handling Equipment, inclusive of on pavement forklifts and high reach trucks
  • Loading and unloading of various truck types
  • Supervising staff
  • Communicating with customer support around freight enquiries
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience working in a Warehouse
  • Experience working in Retail or FMCG is also desirable
  • Exceptional organisational, communication and time management skills
  • Forklift Ticket or willingness to obtain one
