Our client is looking for a experienced Database Administrator or Engineer to join their dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the implementation, support, and maintenance of a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

Support the customer platform by performing Level 2 and 3 platform support.
Manage and administer PostgreSQL database products on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Install systemwide software and provide support for database hardware and software.
Tune system performance to ensure optimal functionality.
Implement and test database upgrades.
Design and execute data migration activities.
Maintain comprehensive database design and implementation documentation.
Implement organisational objectives for database improvement and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

Australian Citizen
Ability to obtain clearance.
Substantial professional experience working in a role within an engineering or project environment.
Strong skills and experience with
PostgreSQL are essential.
Proficiency in
Linux (RHEL) is required.
Familiarity with
Oracle and
Microsoft databases is a plus.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
