  • Larita Academy_ is an intensive training program in Victoria designed to fuel entrepreneurial drive, promote pathways to employment and help form positive connections for at risk young people in Victoria.


The successful launch of the CSR program, including the Larita Academy has created a unique opportunity for a newly created role, Operations Manager.


ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting directly to the CEO and Founder, the incumbent will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic and creative environment which is unique in the social enterprise and not for profit sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist the CEO with organisational planning (short and long term) and take initiative towards operational excellence.
  • Develop strategies and annual plans to devise and execute program objectives, plans and outcomes in collaboration with relevant members of the organisation.
  • Provide administrative assistance and support planning, management and logistics to ensure delivery of successful programs and events.
  • Develop fitfor purpose collateral including digital newsletters, brochures and other digital content, in conjunction with key internal stakeholders
  • Provide effective program evaluation and regular reporting to key internal stakeholders as required, ensuring budget adherence and program objectives are met.
  • Ensure legal compliance with regard to risk and privacy legislation.
  • Support the planning, management and logistics of program and events.

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Experience working in the notforprofit sector, social enterprise and/or in CSR with broad ranging stakeholders.
  • Experience working with at risk youth with a current police and working with children clearance.
  • Takes pride in organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Systems focused.
  • Problem solving mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to form relationships with at risk young people as well as C-Suite Executives.
