Investigations Co-ordinator - QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, WA, NT

About the Role:

Found within Claims Operations, the primary responsibility of the National Investigations Unit (NIU) is to investigate and mitigate suspected fraud across various Allianz business units nationally.


An opportunity exists for an Investigations Co-ordinator to work within the NIU and provide investigation services to our General Insurance division.


You'll be responsible for:


  • Retrieving, maintaining and regularly updating relevant databases used by the NIU
  • Working closely and collaboratively with the Claims Operations Team nationally
  • Investigating contractual matters and policy response
  • Liaising with external suppliers and managing their quality and timeliness

Important to your success:


  • Experience in various product lines including motor, home and commercial
  • A solid understanding and exposure of insurance investigation processes
  • The ability to work autonomously whilst being an effective team player
  • The ability to handle difficult situations and act in a professional manner whilst resolving complex situations in a timely manner
  • Solid problem solving and relationship building abilities
