About the RoleWard 2I is a 26-bed ward specialising in adult surgical services for high volume, short-stay patients. Specialities include General Surgery, Ear, Nose Throat (ENT), Gynaecology and Orthopaedics. Incorporated in this unit is the "23-hour type patient". The cohort is a mixture of elective and emergency admissions.
You will have:
- Experience working in a patient care environment or relevant clinical area.
- The ability to work as an effective team member under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to achieve clinical and organisational goals.
- Flexibility, a positive attitude and enthusiasm for duties.
- The ability to understand and react responsively to patient needs.
