About the role


We are looking for a sales and client relationship expert to help us acquire and convert conference and Events within CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park.


As the Client Relationship Manager you will be part of the CENTREPIECE Sales Team where you will develop strong customer relationships, maintain a portfolio of corporate accounts and challenge your self to seek new business opportunities.


Reporting to the Sales Manager - CENTREPIECE this member of Melbourne & Olympic Parks newest venue team will work closely with the boarder CENTREPIECE sales team to respond to event enquires and RFPs, prepare proposals, conduct site inspections, convert leads and prepare contracts.


As Melbourne's newest and most surprising new conference and gala venue this role in selling the venue is a rare and exciting opportunity

Here are some of the latest things you'll have the opportunity to be involved in:
Selling events into CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park

  • Perform the endtoend sales process; from canvassing to converting sales opportunities for CENTREPIECE
  • Responsible for the sales growth of attaining conferences and events, for CENTREPIECE
  • Responsible for setting, reviewing, and developing quarterly sales plans (in consultation with the Sales Manager)
  • Contributes to the development of sales strategies to grow the business and expand into new markets
  • Responsible for the management of an agreed portfolio of Business Events and Corporate Accounts
  • Retain existing business and increase their investment in M&OP
  • Build and develop relationships with new clients
