In partnership with our leading government client, Paxus are currently seeking multiple Claims Call Centre Trainees to work with the Perth CBD client's office.


About the Role:

This role requires strong verbal and written skills to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

You will be answering inbound phone calls and providing information on complex healthcare claims as well as processing, chasing up, and managing documents and referral letters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice and interpretation, including in writing, on aspects of legislation to colleagues, senior managers and clients.
  • Liaise with staff, clients, and outside organisations to reach timely and correct determinations on claims.
  • Undertake tasks and projects to enhance the quality and consistency of service to clients and operational efficiency.

Duties:


  • Provide advice and interpretation, including in writing, on aspects of legislation to colleagues, senior managers and clients.
  • Undertake claims investigations and determinations.
  • Liaise with staff, clients, and outside organisations to reach timely and correct determinations on claims.
  • Undertake tasks and projects to enhance the quality and consistency of service to clients and operational efficiency.

Desirable experience/skills

  • Strong IT skills especially with Microsoft and Outlook programs
  • Prior customer service experience highly desired
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to learn quickly
  • Able to understand and interpret policy and legislation
  • Strong multi tasking
