The Role
Reporting to the Deputy Editor the Digital Content Producer, Social Cohesion Unit would see you:

  • Creating English audio and online content for ALC language teams as advised by the editorial leads e.g. audio explainers, audiograms, online articles
  • Participating in multiplatform content ideation and assist with editorial planning and implementation as needed
  • Keeping across the news agenda to identify any potential stories
  • Ensuring content is delivered in line with target language audience needs and editorial requirements

About you

  • Experience in broadcast journalism and/or digital audio content production
  • Exceptional writing and audio production skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of best practice podcast production
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in using audio equipment, editing software
  • Tertiary qualification in Journalism or Communication highly desirable
This role is being offered on a fixed term contract for 13 months, with a potential view to extension.
