  • Fulltime, continuing position
  • Commencement Salary: $73,341 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role


As Program Services Officer (Quality and Accreditation), you will establish and maintain high quality project and administrative support services within the UniSA Education Futures Academic Unit, contributing to quality assurance processes by undertaking research, analysis and coordinating projects.

You will also provide high level support across Initial Teacher Education (ITE) reporting, compliance and review lifecycles to ensure all ITE programs maintain accreditation within current regulatory environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate compliance, evaluation and student progression activities for UniSA Education Futures. This includes day to day monitoring, tracking and reporting on deliverables, and coordinating adjustments to ensure successful outcomes
  • Provide high level administrative support in implementing compliance, evaluation and student progression initiatives
  • Undertake the role of executive officer to relevant working parties and committees; prepare agendas, coordinate documentation; draft reports, briefings, research papers and publications; assessing proposals against regulatory requirements and University policies and guidelines
  • Contribute to improvement initiatives, processes and plans of compliance, evaluation and student progression projects across the Academic Unit and the wider University
  • Provide advice and guidance to staff and students on the interpretation of University and government policies and procedures relevant to compliance, evaluation and student progression queries

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
  • Experience in the coordination of multiple projects with the requirement to determine competing priorities and exercise independent judgement
  • Experience in the collection and analysis of large amounts of qualitative and quantitative information and data
  • Knowledge and proven experience with committee structure and procedures and the ability to provide professional administrative support to committees
  • High level written and verbal communication skills including the preparation of written materials, and experience in liaising with people at all levels, both internal and external to an organisation
