The Opportunity:


Join our team of intelligent and collaborative Changemakers and make your mark on tomorrow In this role, you'll work with the Mine Engineering & Stability team as a
Project Administrator.


You will assist with project delivery and general administration services for the wider team, and be based out of QLD.

This role will be perfect for you if you are someone with a good knowledge of Finance &/or Accounting and are an office all-rounder who is looking to move into Projects.


Mining
Our Mining team helps clients optimise performance, boost profitability, and operate responsibly.

We have a comprehensive understanding of the mining industry and current issues including decarbonisation and understand future-ready strategies are critical to countering these issues, capitalising on opportunities, and adding value to businesses.


  • Document Control including setup and maintenance of a correspondence out register, transmittals and working with webbased document collaboration systems e.g., Aconex, ProjectWise, Incite, SharePoint etc.
  • Finance administration including assisting with project finance tasks related to projects, basic commercial acumen, assisting with invoice queries, raising and monitoring of purchase orders, development of work breakdown structures, project implementation and monitoring within systems.
  • Bid support for project management
  • Coordinating data management and information transfer, including setting up and maintaining filing systems, document logs and action item lists in line with WSP IMS requirements.
  • Assisting with site mobilisation and other travel logistics for site personnel.
  • General assistance to project teams including managing leave calendar and resource tracking records, training and medicals, onboarding and inductions of new project staff.
  • Meeting organisation and minutes.
  • Assisting in coordinating and tracking of project deliverables.
  • Assisting in compiling regular project progress reports.
  • Assisting in quality management processes including in line with WSP IMS requirements.
  • Word processing of documents, including reports, memorandums and letters.
  • Filing and retrieving documents, records and reports.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks and other duties as required.

About you:


  • Completion of secondary studies is required, and a Diploma of Business qualification is highly desirable
  • Sound knowledge and proven experience of finance principles, processes, and systems
  • Excellent knowledge of integrated systems and monitoring of those systems
  • Adaptable to changes, and working within shared teams
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Strong demonstrated customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Use of initiative and a 'cando' attitude
  • Ability to work unsupervised and be proactive
  • Ability to develop and deliver small internal projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Intermediate to advanced skill level across Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, MS Project desirable)
  • Familiar with webbased document collaboration systems
  • Intermediate to advanced general computing skills, ability to learn new programs
