The Role


The Lecturer, Teaching Futures, will also contribute to the development of Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), and work collaboratively with the City Campus Operations Educational Experience Project Lead to support the management and oversight of project work, including management of risks, actions, issues, dependencies, decisions, assumptions, schedule, budget, communications and business change.

Capabilities

A PhD in a relevant discipline and extensive relevant experience, or equivalent.

Substantial experience in university teaching and pedagogy.

Expert knowledge and skill in the conceptualisation, design and delivery of academic development services, resources and programs.


Demonstrated capacity to problem-solve in fast moving, often changing and demanding situations, to work quickly to develop sophisticated and effective recommendations and plans, and to manage complexity with elegant solutions.

Demonstrated proficiency and experience in working in a multi team environment to achieve seamless services to stakeholders.


Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to engage collegially and effectively with colleagues at all levels of the University, academic and professional, and the ability to negotiate effectively with all stakeholders.


You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University's values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry Personal Excellence and Courage.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $105,832 to $125,043 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
