Permanent Part time - 21 hours per week
Salary from $82,465 up to $106,216 per annum pro rata plus superannuation

About the position:
We are looking for our next passionate Swimming Pool Safety Specialist to join the Regulation and Enforcement team in this rewarding and fast paced position
As an integral member of the team, you will be working on Wollongong Council's Swimming Pool Barrier Inspection program.
Working closely with key stakeholders, you will promptly initiate enforcement action to deliver quality outcomes with a high level of customer service.

Interested?
Selection Criteria -
- Detail your experience in a swimming pool compliance/planning/building regulatory role and outline any tertiary qualification you have related to the role (Building Surveying/Environmental Health/Planning/or a related professional discipline).
- Demonstrate your experience with conducting a swimming safety barrier inspection in accordance with legislative requirements.
- What is your working knowledge and understanding of the Australian Standards AS , AS and AS and the Swimming Pool Act 1992 and the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 197
- Provide an example of a situation when you had to utilise your negotiation and conflict resolution skills in relation to a compliance matter.
- Possession of a current Class C drivers' licence or equivalent.
