One of Australia's largest Heavy Haulage Trailer manufacturers are on the lookout for a few skilled and highly experienced Mechanical Trade Assistants to become part of our growing team.


The Job:

You will be assisting our mechanical fitters in various tasks, including:

  • Assembling, Building and repairing of truck trailers
  • Checking of brakes and suspension
  • Replacing Worn bearings, performing oil changes and changing tyres
  • Setting up tooling in preparation for the job
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly workshop environment

About you:


  • A proven track record working alongside Mechanical Fitters in a workshop environment
  • Proficiency in operating basic hand and power tools
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Physically fit and active, as the job involves working on, around and under truck trailers
  • Forklift ticket (desired but not essential)
  • Strong commitment to safety

$37.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Licence/Certification:

  • Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
  • White Card (preferred)
  • Forklift Licence (preferred)
  • Driver Licence (preferred)
