***The role of Value Stream Supervisor Inbound is an exciting opportunity to lead inbound operations for our Scoresby Supply Chain

Empowered to develop and improve all processes. The position is responsible for the daily management of inbound movements for all domestic and international arrivals. The role is crucial in delivering an organized time bound receiving process.

Leading upwards of 1,500 inbound lines and 15 shipping containers per week, the supervisor will own all inwards goods processes.

For approximately annual inventory of ~AUD250M or 80% of total ANZ volume.

This position will work with the Service vertical as the key warehouse operations partner.

Supporting all activity Service related the activity you will link with colleagues from across the business ensuring successful order fulfilment meeting customer expectations.

This includes oversight for spare parts availability through the inbound process which is needed for meeting field service engineer timeliness for works at customer locations.


Finally, the supervisor position has key accountabilities for EHS leadership supporting the health and wellbeing of our employees and value stream performance along with the leadership and development of people.


Key Responsibilities:


Inwards Goods

  • Coordinate inbound container scheduling in consultation with freight forwarders and planning & replenishment team.
  • Be responsible for inwards goods database ensuring timely and right firsttime data entry.
  • Lead team members through daily prioritisation of activities to customer expectations including backorder focus; ATP (Available to Promise) lead times; stock putaway activity; and first in first away receipting activity.
  • Work in tandem with replenishment planners to align on daily material availability needs supporting product Fill Rate targets of >95% on average.
  • Assess inbound product integrity on arrival and work hand in hand planning and strategic procurement ensuring supplier feedback for improvement is brought together.
  • Support supplier deviation management and problem solving in conjunction with the quality organisation and supply chain colleagues.
  • Lead Chain of Responsibility mentoring & awareness across the inwards operation focusing on 3rd party material handling.
  • Lead a safetyfirst approach and culture, empower our teams to create standards and cleanliness, lead teams through SWP (Safe Work Practice) awareness and be the central authority covering systems, process, and procedural documentation.
  • Work across supporting functions as distribution's divisional lead for service.
  • Lead pick face accuracy at putaway enabling improve stock take effectives in line with improved inventory records.
  • Handle deviation and customer complaint cases in Salesforce

Combined Responsibilities

  • Handle PMD objective setting and reviews along with creation of development plans for key team members.
  • Represent work area at daily standup meetings prepared to cover off safety, quality, and performance measures for respective work centre.
  • Drive process improvement, support, and lead CI activity
  • Maintain focus on 5S, Gemba and Standard Work
  • Responsible for maintaining quality standards including team member training compliance.
