The Global Markets division is responsible for the Trading and Sales activities in financial markets encompassing all Foreign Exchange, Commodities, Fixed Income and Interest Rate products.

The purpose of the Global Markets Sales business is to enhance our client's success by making global markets easy to navigate.


The FX Centre team provides exceptional tailored service and support to clients (existing and new), Bankers and Global Markets sales people who transact on CommBiz International Payments FX.


Do work that matters


The Global Markets Sales business provides Interest Rate and Foreign Exchange Risk Management solutions to bank clients through our business partners across both B&PB and IB segments.

This role provides exposure into the FX Centre client support function.

You will be an integral team member who provides exceptional service and support to CBA customers who transact on CommBiz International Payments and FX (IPFX) and deliver client outcomes with respect to their on-going FX needs.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Resolve inbound client queries on CommBiz IPFX in a timely manner over the phone
  • Develop strong relationships with sales teams and stakeholders.
  • Work with Bankers, Branch, Global Markets Specialists (GMS) and Account Managers to facilitate seamless activation for customers with a tiered FX pricing need, ensuring a smooth and timely customer experience.
  • Triage internal FX leads and in some instances conduct FX needs assessments to confirm appropriate pricing and where necessary refer to an account manager or GMS or fulfil.
  • Drive retention, adoption and active usage of FX and Payments services across multiple channels but with a particular focus on digital channels.
  • Proactively identify and meet Business and Private Bank clients FX and Interest Rate needs in a safe, informed and compliant manner.
  • Assist with the development, implementation and enhancement of new and existing global markets products.
  • Administer price changes for all FX and International Payments clients as requested by Bankers, Branch and Markets stakeholders within established price frameworks.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Sound telephony skills, especially listening to client enquiries and understanding key issues.
  • Strong experience in financial services or other relevant corporate experience
  • Ability to perform in a fast pace environment that requires a high level of attention to detail while prioritizing deadlines.
  • Maintain a continuous improvement approach for product, people, process and systems. Recommend, influence and implement
  • Previous experience with CommBiz platform is desirable
  • Previous call center / sales telephony experience desirable
  • Problem resolution skills and ability to diagnose technical issues
