An exciting opportunity for a skilled Pastoral Care Practitioner to join Western Health's Pastoral & Spiritual Care Department on a permanent, part time basis, working at our Sunshine site.

The successful applicant will provide high quality spiritual care to Western Health's patients, their families, and staff.


To be successful in this role you:

  • Will have a
    _tertiary qualification in Pastoral Care, Counselling, or other related discipline_, from a recognised training authority
  • Will have successfully completed at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent
  • Have demonstrated experience of providing high quality pastoral/spiritual support in the healthcare environment, to people from all walks of life.
  • Display an appropriate level of capability, as outlined in Level 2 of Spiritual Health Association's _Capabilities Framework for Spiritual Care Practitioners in Healthcare 2020._
  • Have demonstrated experience working in the acute and subacute environment, caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds.
