Job Details:
*This is an expression of interest only vacancy*Job Summary:Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Team Management

  • Provide day to day management of the Central Systems (Applications/Devices) and Workshop Team.
  • Undertake performance management activities with the team including annual performance reviews, goal setting and monitoring of progress through regular 1on1's with Team members.
  • Approve timesheets and leave for both teams.
  • Develop, implement and monitor daily, weekly and monthly work plans for the Applications/Devices and Workshop Team to ensure standard reoccurring activities are completed
  • Manage incidents and RMAs team resourcing
  • Manage to workloads and priorities of team members as required.
  • Manage team escalations
  • Escalate issues as required to Management.
  • Delegation of tasks using a structured job ticket system such as ServiceNow/Jira
Change and Release Management

  • Participate in the review, approval and monitoring of changes into the environment, and associated production changes through the internal and external change management processes and in accordance with the Change Management Policy
  • Lead the Release of new solutions into the Production Environment in conjunction with the Engineering team, the Release and Change Managers to ensure deployments are well planned, documented and executed and result in successful outcomes with robust back out plans where appropriate
Crisis, Incident and Problem Management

  • Provide system analyst capabilities and leadership to the team into the crisis, incident and problem management processes
  • Provide updates to the Crisis Manager, Stakeholder Manager, Cubic Managers and the Client as required
  • Manage and monitor escalations to third level and thirdparty support.
  • Work closely with Engineering Production Support to identify priorities and implement solutions
System/Device Management

  • Review system/device performance
  • Identify technical risks and associated ways to mitigate those risks
Reporting & Documentation

  • Complete Monthly Workshop reporting
  • Provide information on Application/Device Performance when required
  • Review Systems/Device documentation and adjust where required.
  • Identify missing documentation and rectify as required.
  • Ensure the Knowledgebase is maintained with current Bulletins as solutions are released that address ARQ's, add functionality or retire workarounds.
Additional Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the other Central Systems Teams, Base Data Team, Infrastructure Team Leads, Integration Architects, Projects and Engineering, working together to create a strong support model.
  • Identifies, investigates and resolves technical issues. This includes issue definition, impact assessment and reporting, design and implementation of workrounds and remediation activities.
  • Design and implementation and constant refinement of monitoring and event solutions
  • Maintain and administer the ticketing systems so as to minimize outages and down time meet availability and reliability KPI's and SLA's.
  • Creation and maintenance of system documentation where required.
  • In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager from time to time, as may be reasonably required.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Qualifications:


Essential:

  • Degree in a related IT/Computer Science discipline or equivalent experience
Skills/Experience/Knowledge


Essential:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in systems analysis and design Device, Customer and Payment Gateway Systems
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in supporting Unix, Linux or Microsoft environments.
  • Experience in PCI-DSS and/or ISO2700 based system se
