About the role


We have an opportunity for
2 x Investigators to be part of our Compliance & Enforcement, Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate Command team.

The Investigator is responsible for conducting complex investigations, audits and operations and taking appropriate enforcement action to ensure legislative compliance by Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED) regulated industries.

The role also contributes to the continuous review of industry compliance levels and the effectiveness of SLED's legislation, policies and procedures.

The role will be conducting audits and investigations primarily within the security and tattoo industry.

  • Conduct audit and investigations within the security and tattoo industries.
  • Participate in operations related to regulatory compliance.
  • Take appropriate enforcement actions to ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports, submissions and correspondence.
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity and conflict resolution skills.
  • Manage time and organisation effectively to meet deadlines and target; and
  • Collaborate efficiently as a team member.
