  • Opportunity to join Westpac Institutional Bank's (WIB)


As a Service Associate, you will provide service support to Platinum, Growth, and value clients across the customer lifecycle within Westpac Institutional Bank.


You will be responsible for service delivery and support for assigned industry portfolio, ensuring oversight of all services and enquiries being resolved on behalf of that customer within Global Transaction Services (GTS), WIB or operations teams.

You will support clients and respond to all enquiries within defined service standards, resolving matters competently, ethically, and commercially.

Contribute to and support the delivery of continuous process improvement by identifying better and simpler ways of working.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure all businessrelated risks are identified, logged, and managed in accordance with Westpac Group policy.
  • Accountable to the business and assigned clients for service and support provided and have a strong understanding of client core products and their associated procedures and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative, regulatory, and corporate policy requirements and standards, including ongoing maintenance of administrative requirements, skills, and knowledge.
  • Support client revenue growth and deposit growth by providing outstanding service.

What do I need?


To be successful in this role you will have proven ability managing institutional clients and have a deep knowledge of their servicing needs in one or more of the following: lending, financial markets, or transactional products.


You will have supported key clients in portfolio and industry sectors to ensure superior service is provided and be proactive in anticipating customer needs based on prior knowledge of client solutions.


You understand WIB stakeholders, knowledge of institutional customers, knowledge of industry segments, product needs and core solutions as well as the associated systems, procedures, and processes to support them.


Ideally, you will be familiar with GTS and other transactional banking products and have an understanding of operational risk, Juno management and customer complaints processes.
