In the context of new pipeline opportunities in oncology, we are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated professional with significant experience across multiple brands and areas in the pre-launch and launch settings.

This is a leadership role requiring experience and a broad skill set to succeed.

There will be a strong focus on collaboration and co-creation, leading cross functional teams, strategic leadership, agile decision making and influencing at senior levels both within Australia and above country.

Essential Job Functions- Co-lead the cross functional team and link/collaborate with KITE and other relevant teams in the business- Develop and execute aligned pre-launch plans, following the Early Access Planning and medical and commercial Launch Excellence Processes- Work cross functionally with a range of internal (within and above country) and external stakeholders to ensure optimal access to, and ultimately the safe and appropriate use of, the new product(s) within complex specialty and dynamic settings- Shape above country cross functional plans to ensure optimal launch timing and environment- Build and execute best practice medical and commercial pre-launch and launch plans establishing Gilead ANZ as a leader in the disease state

Specific Responsibilities- Co-lead the cross functional team supporting the new portfolio- Own the pre-launch budget and develop and execute the Medical Plan of Action for the new product(s)/portfolio- Partner with the Clinical Operations team to provide scientific support to trial sites and ensure sharing of insights- Serve as internal scientific expert in the therapy area, healthcare landscape, and data on Gilead and competitor medicines- Represent Gilead with the external multidisciplinary scientific and HCP community, through scientific engagement, group presentations, advisory boards, conferences and other activities as required- Develop above-country networks to ensure ANZ input into, and shaping of, global strategy- Collaboratively lead to mitigate challenges and optimise launch- Lead the identification of actionable insights from external stakeholders including advisory boards and market research to ensure pre-launch and launch plans addresses the unmet need

Knowledge, Experience, Competencies and Skills- Advanced scientific or clinical degree- Deep understanding and experience navigating complex oncology ecosystems- Functional experience in the pre-launch and launch setting, experience or strong knowledge in oncology strongly preferred- Experience/expertise in one or more of breast cancer, haematological oncology and/or lung cancer strongly preferred- Demonstrated deep understanding of patient journey- Established relationships with oncology networks highly desired- Evidence of strong medical and commercial acumen required; medical and marketing or other commercial experience highly regarded- Understand future trends and shape ecosystems to enable introduction of new treatment paradigms- Leadership in matrix and cross functional team structures with agility, transparency and innovation- Thrives in an agile oncology setting with dynamic release and fast uptake of new data- Prior supervisory/leadership and people development experience preferred- Minimum 8 years experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry preferred- Demonstrated ability to lead change through thinking strategically to drive innovation- Demonstrated relational intelligence by generating value through impactful interactions- Demonstrated leadership of developing and delivering on cross functional pre-launch and launch plans including; strategic project management through leading valuable and impactful projects aligned to the needs of the patients and other stakeholders they serve, by engaging internal and external stakeholders and resources- Excellent written, verbal, relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills with varied audiences and executives- Strong analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and interpret complex issues and provide appropriate recommendations to senior management and across functional areas- Demonstrated a
