About the role


As a Bitumen and Pavement Repair Driver you will be part of the Roads and Drainage team in the Works and Field Services Branch.

This role is responsible for maintenance and patching repairs of the road network in Ipswich.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • General maintenance of Council's Road network
  • Deliver a program of works as part of the bitumen and patching crews
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines and regulations
  • Ensure continuous improvement
  • Participate in and encourage professional development within the team

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A Current Medium Rigid (MR) Licence (mandatory)
  • An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in Civil Construction
  • Familiarity with local road network
  • The ability to be resilient and agile
  • A preemployment medical will be required for this role (Including drug and alcohol testing)

This is a Permanent position, LGE 4-5 with a salary commencing at $64, 571 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
