About the Opportunity


The primary responsibility of this role will be to handle accounts payable tasks, the role will also require providing assistance and support to other sections within the Customer Accounting team as needed.


The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the timely and accurate data entry from payment vouchers and journals which contributes to the efficient operation of the accounts payable function.

The Accounts Payable Officer will be required to perform a quality assurance function on data entry by other officers.

The Office of the Public Trustee (Public Trustee) is a business unit of the Attorney-General's Department.' ̄ The Public Trustee was established in 1881 and is constituted under the provisions of the Public Trustee Act 1995.


The Public Trustee plays a key role in managing the personal, legal, and financial affairs of those people in the community who lack the capacity to manage their own affairs.

The Public Trustee also provides eligible South Australians with access to Will making services, powers of attorney preparation and deceased estate and trust administration.

The Public Trustee is in a prime CBD location, with offices looking out over Victoria Square.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
