FS Controls and Operations, Global Finance Systems and Control, Global Finance Systems team is responsible for:

Providing support to the Group Costing & Profitability Reporting teams
The provision of finance operations, payroll related reconciliation and interface controls services on behalf of various Business Units in the Bank.
Managing the delivery and operation of Group wide Accounting Mapping Engine (FDM), ERP, EPM platforms.
Development/migration of the Groups reconciliations onto Accurate and provide Level 1 support for existing reconciliations

Do work that matters

The team contributes to Finance Systems strategy and roadmaps and as the Finance Systems specialist under PACE model, you will deliver system projects and enhancements, along with maintaining optimal operating rhythms.

You will also participate and uplift regular platform upgrade management capability that negates expensive, large upgrades.

Your Responsibilities

Identify strategic opportunities, build business cases and stakeholder support
Implementing governance of data and reporting tools as required
Leveraging strategic data initiatives such as Aptitude subledger, Oracle EPM suites, Peoplesoft ERP and other CBA groupwide data assets
Reduce complexity and bespoke customisations, ensuring platform stays "evergreen" and is ready for any strategic future upgrade plans
Build our relationships with group finance and BU finance teams to better understand use cases for ERP stack "voice of customer"

Contribute to FINREP

Simplify & rationalise excel templates, and maintain data integrity for monthend flash reporting
Reimagine ERP modules suites dashboard capabilities
Be able to contribute to design and planning sessions involving upstream (ERP and subledger) and downstream finance use cases

Be Finance Systems specialist for ERP squad under PACE model in a manner consistent with CBA's Values and People Capabilities.

Deep understanding of financial control, data quality and systems with experience developing strategies for finance, performance management and reporting transformation
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building, including vendor and implementation partners
Strong negotiation and influencing skills that enable constructive working relationships across the Group with a focus on enterprisewide outcomes.
Strong analytical skills, business acumen and knowledge of performance drivers across financial services business units and support functions.
A curious and humble mindset with the ability to stay abreast of technology trends and changes and to seek industrywide perspectives on Enterprise Performance best practice
