Job description:
A New scrum master is required to join a Brisbane-based financial company on an initial 6 month contract plus extension.
As the Scrum Master, you will be responsible and accountable for managing the flow, sequencing, slicing, and velocity of work, ensuring compliance with governance and practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
You will work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders to optimise delivery and achieve desired outcomes.
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
- Proven track record of managing and optimising squad performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make decisions and be accountable for outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution abilities.
- Resultsdriven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams.
- High level of adaptability and resilience in a fastpaced environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
