Support Council's Finance & Procurement teams

  • Permanent fulltime, Werribee Based
  • Salary from $78,200 plus super and fortnightly RDO

A bit about the role


Reporting directly to the Executive Manager Finance (EMF), you will play an integral role in providing the EMF and the wider Finance & Procurement teams with effective and confidential executive support.


You will ensure the EMF is fully supported in all scheduling and administrative aspects and you will also be the central point of call for the department's administrative and operational support needs.

You will also support department and unit projects and provide assistance and support on various operational administrative tasks across the department.


You will contribute to the success of the Finance department through active teamwork and effective performance of your responsibilities and allocated duties.


What you'll deliver

  • Effective, efficient and confidential support to the EMF and department
  • Actively manage and facilitate the scheduling and administrative needs of the EMF
  • Provide administrative, project support and assistance to the wider Finance department
  • Work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

What you'll bring

  • Strong demonstrated work experience in office, project administration and related functions (preferably within a local government setting)
  • Experience in working within a complex and sensitive working environment
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and other office administration software
  • Proficient stakeholder management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong time management and problemsolving skills and experience
  • A positive, curious and flexible mind
