Description

Care Live Smile works hand-in-hand with our partner organisations, matching their clients in need of at-home care with our team of qualified and experienced Care Workers.


Homecare assistance main duties:


  • Maintaining a safe, clean and healthy environment through light housekeeping including changing bed linens.
  • Assisting clients with housekeeping or other daily errands
  • Preparing meals and assistant with feeding (if necessary) according to specific dietary requirements.
  • Assisting the client with therapy exercises under the direction of a Registered Therapist.
  • Performing assistance to personal care including hair care, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Providing companionship and stimulation for the client including reading, walks, etc.; and accompanying the client to doctors or other appointments.
  • Transporting client to appointments
  • Observing and taking notes to changes in client's condition.
  • Observing and reporting on changes in the health or status of the client

Job requirements:


Mandatory job requirements (for domestic assistance):

  • First Aid (HLTAID003, HLTAID011, HLTAID004, HLTAID012)
  • NDIS Worker Screening ID _or _AU National Police Check
  • COVID19 fully vaccinated with booster
  • Available most of the days and can start ASAP
  • Willing to work on a casual basis and to travel in the surrounding suburbs

For personal care service, you must have all the above requirements and:

  • Cert III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support or Nursing

Additional requirements for transport services:


  • Comprehensive car insurance with worker's name listed as main driver or insured driver
  • Full driver licence
  • Car registration
