About the role

It is the purpose of this role to provide clinical support to assist the Allied Health team in the provision of effective and confidential, patient care services across Allied Health and its environments, including the Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services, surgical inpatients and outpatient services.

The position will provide environmental maintenance of the specific work areas within the Allied Health services, STARS.

Clinical Assistants (Dietetics) work in a team environment liaising with dietitians, other health care staff and food services to help optimise nutritional care of patients.

  • Under supervision, demonstrated ability to provide a defined range of treatments as prescribed and delegated by an allied health professional.

  • Ability to contribute positively to the allied health clinical team by supporting and contributing to service improvement activities.
