Campbelltown Hospital is recruiting for an energetic, skilled and intuitive Administrative Officer (Level 2) to complement and enhance the current Admissions Office.

Campbelltown hospital provides a holistic, ultramodern facility that is continuously expanding its services.

The hospital is a dynamic, diverse and collaborative with all sectors of the hospital working together to provide to superior patient care.

Whilst being the major hospital for the MacArthur area, the hospital has not lost its sense of community and regional support.

Located close to the Campbelltown CBD and public transport, Campbelltown Hospital is largely becoming one of South West Sydney's most important medical precincts.

What you'll be doing

Provide a range of administrative support services to enable the team to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable, patient focused and effective manner.


Where You'll Be Working

Campbelltown Hospital, a major metropolitan hospital, and Camden Hospital, a district hospital, operate under a common executive management structure and have networked services.


Camden and Campbelltown Hospitals provide a diverse range of services including intensive care, cardiology, maternity, gynaecology, paediatrics, palliative care, respiratory and stroke medicine, surgery and emergency medicine and broad aged care services.

The Hospitals deliver quality health care to the residents of the three local government areas of Wollondilly, Camden and Campbelltown.


How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  • Demonstrated experience with data entry with the ability to self check for accuracy.
  • High level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • High level clerical experience.
  • Demonstrated time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems, programs and procedures.
  • Willingness to support team and relieve meal breaks.
  • Completion of Medical Terminology Certificate
