The School of Nursing, University of Wollongong is identified as a provider of high-quality professional education and contributing to the generation and dissemination of knowledge within a research-intensive university.

The Bachelor of Nursing program is offered at six delivery sites including, Wollongong, UOW Liverpool Campus, Shoalhaven Campus, UOW Sutherland, UOW Eurobodalla and UOW Bega Valley.

In addition, we have an expansive post graduate portfolio with degrees in Nursing, Mental health, Dementia Care and Health Leadership and Management.

The School has an expansive research agenda.

Our research agenda has six foci:

Clinical Excellence, Mental Health, Ageing, Primary Health, Person-Centred Practice and Teaching and Learning under the leadership of excellent researchers.


We are seeking to appoint a highly engaged and dedicated Scholarly Teaching Fellow who will be responsible for supporting and developing the academic literacy and professional communication skills of nursing students in the context of their primary disciplinary studies, through individual and group consultations, along with large group consultations and workshops.

You will consult with a wide range of academic staff to design and implement capacity building strategies for students that are aligned to curriculum learning outcomes and higher research degree program completion.
