Applications will remain current for a period of up to 12 months and may be considered for other vacancies which may include an alternative employment basis (temporary; full time or part time).

To be successful in this role, the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following experience, knowledge and skills:

Demonstrated experience as a senior leader with the ability to motivate, coach, mentor and encourage cross-disciplinary teams working in dynamic and complex environments.
The ability to acquire knowledge of evidencebased offender management frameworks and understanding risks, trends, issues and practices.
Demonstrated ability to translate the strategic direction of the agency into plans and actions, prioritising financial and operational resources appropriately.
Demonstrated risk identification and analysis, and the ability to implement mitigation strategies during highpressure situations to ensure the continuity of service delivery
Knowledge, expertise and skill in information management systems, legislation, policies and procedures and the capacity to interpret such policies and provide authoritative advice to management.
Evidenced experience in the collation and analysis of data, understanding of business systems and processes, and the provision of performance reporting to meet the needs of the region.
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with proven consultation and negotiation experience to resolve high risk, difficult and conflicting objectives.
Demonstrate experience implementing strategies to enhance the capability of the team, including performance management practices.

Qualifications, professional registration, conditions and other requirements:

Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications for this position, tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as management would be highly desirable.
The incumbent may be required to travel on official business and the possession of a C class licence is required.
