THE OPPORTUNITY


We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented mechanical fitter to join our team as a
Field Service Technician in
Melbourne .


  • This is a handson customer service role that requires a selfmotivated and customer focused individual.
  • The role will help to deliver 24x7 national support including:
  • contract repair, preventative maintenance, installations and
- emergency breakdown services for Dematic customers in the Melbourne region.

  • The position will require participation in the oncall roster and
  • Must be flexible to work overtime including Saturday's and Sunday's.
  • You will be working day and afternoon shifts as part of your work roster.

Tasks and Qualifications:


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Mechanical Fitter trade qualification (mandatory)
  • Restricted Electrical Licence is preferred
  • PLC experience in Siemens S7 and SCADA WIN CC highly regarded
  • Current driver's licence
  • Experience working with automation and material handling equipment (e.g. conveyors)
  • Experience in computerised maintenance systems
  • Ability to work autonomously, solve problems quickly and be results driven
  • Strong safety focus including understanding of WHS requirements and adopting safe work practices
  • Strong customer focus and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Great team player who is able to work collaboratively and build and maintain effective ongoing relationships
