ABOUT THE ROLE

Key duties:

  • Ensuring the delivery of projects and services are built and provided within a foundation of control and accountability, to provide insight into the time, effort, cost and nature of the services being provided
  • Identifying and making recommendations related to the Delivery of IT services based on risk mitigation, costreduction, outcomeimprovements and quality of service
  • Ensuring the IT Operations and Infrastructure services are sufficient and capable, in order to deliver the necessary business outcomes required within the commercial environment
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and identify training where required to the IT Team, to enable them to gain sufficient skills to support the organisation, with skills balanced across multiple team members

Complimenting this, you will bring:

  • A proven track record of success within the IT domain, preferably within a Retail operation
  • Skill and aptitude for achieving optimal outcomes within commercial, governance and operational constraints
  • Very strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience successfully leading teams within a complex environment
  • Experience delivering multiple concurrent projects and the ability to reprioritise as needed and clearly articulate resulting impacts
  • Knowledge of Retail, ERP, ecommerce, warehousing processes and/or systems would be beneficial
