The position

  • We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, a working knowledge of IT systems preferably including Microsoft Office suite, RosterON and Mercury erecruit; additional training is provided. Experience in healthcare recruitment will be highly regarded. The team

  • Our dedicated team works together to deliver excellence in recruitment and nursing workforce management for The Royal Melbourne Hospital; including Centralised Recruitment for Nurses, Nurse Resource Transition Pool, Casual Workforce, Allocations and supporting Royal Melbourne Hospital nursing workforce in their Professional Development and wellbeing. The NWU recruits Registered Nurses (RN), Enrolled Nurses (EN), Registered Undergraduate Students of Nursing (RUSON), Health Assistant in Nursing (HAN) and Ward Clerks (WC).

  • Provide assistance in the administration and recruitment support to The Royal Melbourne Hospital to ensure efficient operations
  • Foster collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A flare for innovation and commitment to excellence is essential
  • Bring a "can do" attitude to be adaptable and flexible to the departments changing and high velocity demands
  • Prioritise competing demands and an ability to deliver on service wide projects
  • Working knowledge of IT systems including RosterON and Mercury erecruit is desirable at an intermediate level, with additional training provided
