The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) is an independent statutory authority which regulates Victoria's gambling industry. The organisation licenses, informs and educates, monitors and enforces the gambling industry through a risk-based approach to regulation.

The opportunity

Reporting to Manager, Education this role's primary responsibility is to support the development, implementation and evaluation of various education campaigns which form part of the VGCCC's overarching Education Plan, and additional initiatives as required including writing articles, content for digital platforms such as the website, project plans, evaluation surveys, engagement with internal and external stakeholders, and researching/collecting data.

Who we are looking for
Key responsibilities

  • Support the development, implementation and evaluation of various education campaigns and initiatives.
  • Represent the VGCCC at information sessions and roadshows providing up to date information and reinforcing VGCCC key messages.
  • Provide ongoing administrative support and coordination of information sessions, and provide regular reporting on program activities.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise to be able to provide accurate, timely information about the gambling regulations to industry stakeholders and the community.
  • Maintain a record and ensure accuracy of the education resources on the website.
