We require an

HR Assistant to aid in the coordination of the HR function across the business. Our team is primarily tertiary qualified Electrical Engineers, with HR supporting a white collar workforce and workload. Reporting to the HR Advisor, the HR Assistant is a generalist role where you are able to build on your HR studies and experience in a variety of areas including employee relations, recruitment, and workforce planning. Our specialized white-collar workforce sees limited Industrial Relations in the role, however the role will provide exposure to all aspects of HR in a technical consultant environment in the resource sector.

Key functions of the role.

Participate in initiatives that promote employee safety and wellbeing
Collaborate with the HR team implementing safety protocols
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding the welfare of our employees and clients
Assist with employee contractual terms and conditions including rate and rosters
Assist with guidance on HR and ER related matters
Manage employee records and processes
Support the coordination all aspects of HR policy and process improvements

About you
To be considered for this opportunity you will be able to demonstrate:

Ideally Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources or a related field

months' experience in a generalist HR Advisor capacity, ideally with some experience within the mining, resources or manufacturing sector

Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the confidence to work with all business levels
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word) and ideally experience with HR information systems and tools
Able to work as part of a team and build interteam effectiveness
Initiative, ownership, integrity and confidence
