The Test and Learn Initiative Lead (Product Owner) will be responsible for bringing an experimentation mindset and an execution focus to delivering optimal customer outcomes.


Planning and executing a test and learn strategy to explore, validate and optimize and de-risk aspects of the customer and employee journey.

This role has a key opportunity to shape future experiences to not only be seamless but to build a customer experience that creates and increases value for our customers.


The role is a key member of the Customer Stream and will be accountable for building, iterating and executing the strategy, experimentation framework and backlogs to ensure the end-to-end experience is robust and scalable, including the customer and banker experience touch points, the technology and the operational support.

This role will report into the GM Customer Readiness and will establish strong networks across the ecosystem.


Key accountabilities of the role include:
Building a test and learn strategy and experimentation framework, including leading and influencing best practice methodologies.

Developing, planning, executing and measuring on experiments to validate hypotheses and improve assumptions about customer experience, including the banker experience.

Establishing and leading a test and learn culture, for the future bank we are building, creating a centre of expertise and embedding principles and practices.

Working across the ANZ eco-system, including Behavioral Science, Design, Digital, Data, Marketing, Personalisation, Technology to create alignment on outcomes and learnings.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you'll ideally bring the following:
Demonstrated experience in leading and executing experimentation in a complex regulated environment.
Digital experience, product ownership, capability with data and analytics tools

Significant experience in design disciplines, e.g., customer research, human centred design, and ideally some exposure to or knowledge of technology and/or process testing.

Curious and driven to improve customer experience, including proven experience leverage customer data and/or test and learn results to develop and influence strategy.

Ability to synthesise data and insights, and effectively communicate results and outcomes across all areas and levels in the organisation.

Large customer transformation experience is beneficial.
Proven track record of working within complex, fast paced environments, and creating shared clarity from ambiguity. Can work within a de-centralised model, providing expert advice on experimentation methodologies.
Capability in communicating and influencing senior stakeholders, including aligning in learnings, impacts and required changes.
Collaborative leader with your leadership approach and working style anchored in values-driven behaviour.

You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
